Students will practice vocabulary by creating a family tree.
Students will use ser and adjectives to describe members of their “family.”
Students will write correct descriptive statements in Spanish.
Students will pronounce vocabulary and descriptions.
Guidelines:
Students will have three class periods to work on this project.
Students will search for fictional characters, celebrities, or other important people to create their ideal family tree.
Students must include the following minimum family members:
4 grandparents
2 parents
4 aunts/uncles
4 cousins
1 brother
1 sister
1 boyfriend/girlfriend (for each group member)
Students will choose people or characters that can appropriately fill each vacancy. This means they will think about age appropriateness.
Students will create a Photostory to present the family tree with all family members included.
Students will describe all family members by naming, telling relation, and describing with at least 3 adjectives. This description should be written with one copy to be used in the presentation recording, and one copy to be given to your teacher with submission of the project.
